Where we all have the ability to learn, contribute, and succeed!

Class Dojo

What is Class Dojo?

Class Dojo is an app that is used in our classroom for behavior management, as well as many other things! The app allows me to award (or take away) points throughout the day for positive (and negative) behaviors. At the end of each day, students color their class dojo 100 chart, and when their chart is full, they get to pick from our classroom prize box. Students earn points by following our school-wide expectations: Be respectful, be responsible, be a learner, and be safe. As a parent, you can log in at your convenience to view your child's daily points (you can view up to the past 2 weeks of points received), safely and privately message me with any questions or concerns, as well as view, like, and comment on any pictures or videos that are posted to our class story! Class Dojo also translates into 36 different languages!
Class Dojo is a wonderful app that allows us to easily communicate your child's behavior between home and school. It is important for us to work together in a partnership in your child's academics as well as behavior and this is an excellent tool for us both to use in that way!  When you see your child's positive behaviors, please praise them! If you notice your child lost points for negative behaviors, please talk to them about it and what they can do tomorrow to change it!

I will be sending home a paper explaining Class Dojo and the paper will include instructions as well as your personalized Parent Code.
